Soludo and Kanu
Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, has visited the detained chief of the Indigenous Folks of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The governor quoted the IPOB chief as saying that he would preach peace when launched.
Soludo made this identified in a submit on his Fb web page on Saturday night time after visiting the IPOB chief.
He posted, “I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, (Friday, thirteenth Could, 2022) to felicitate with him and likewise as a part of the broader consultations with vital stakeholders in the hunt for lasting peace and safety within the South East.
“He was in very high spirits and we had quality and frank discussion in a very convivial atmosphere. He expressed sadness over what he described as “sacrilegious killings” of harmless individuals, kidnappings and all types of criminalities, together with the brutal enforcement of the mindless “sit at home” perpetuated by sundry teams claiming to be appearing for or on behalf of IPOB.
“He assured that if the chance arises, he will probably be glad to personally broadcast to his followers to take care of the peace.
“Collectively, we will restore peace, safety and prosperity in Anambra and the Southeast.
“It is well indeed!”
Kanu, who’s going through costs of treason, treasonable felony, terrorism, and unlawful possession of firearms, amongst others, allegedly jumped bail in 2017 and left the nation, solely to re-emerge in Israel after which in the UK.
