WAEC Set To Publish Withheld 2021 Results
WAEC (West African Examination Council) has agreed to release the results of candidates who were exonerated by the Committee as soon as possible.
This decision was made following the WAEC NEC meeting on Friday.
According to the board, the Committee’s (NEC) resolutions will be implemented as soon as possible, and the impacted candidates and schools will be properly informed by the Council.

The resolutions of the Committee(NEC) will be implemented without delay & the affected candidates & schools duly informed by the Council. But, the results of candidates who were exonerated by the Committee will be released without further delay.#NECCommunique

Additionally, certain Supervisors who failed to perform their exam obligations will be formally reported to their employers and blacklisted, and some Invigilators will be reported to the proper authorities for disciplinary action.
Recall that WAEC reported on Monday that 170,146 applicants, or 10.9 percent of those who sat for the 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination, had their results withheld (WASSCE).
