The University of Otago PhD scholarship will be awarded to students who wish to pursue a PhD program. All international students are eligible to apply for and receive this award in order to earn and learn at the same time. The students will receive a fixed annual stipend as well as a tuition fee waiver.

How to Use
How to Apply: Interested applicants must apply online via the official platform and complete the application process. Upon acceptance, accepted candidates will receive an application to apply for the scholarship.

CV\sAdmission Requirements: Applicants must have a master’s degree in a relevant field of study that is at least two years old.
Language Prerequisite: The applicants must achieve the required minimum scores on the following English language proficiency tests:

Winners of this scholarship will receive a stipend of NZ$27,000 per year, as well as a tuition fee waiver from the University of Otago for the applied PhD programme.
