Graduates with out first-class levels have been barred from attending the thirty sixth Convocation of The College of Ilorin (Unilorin) which can start from October 15.
That is contained in a press release issued by Mr Kunle Akogun, the College’s Director of Company Affairs, on Sunday in Ilorin.
Akogun defined that it will be the establishment’s thirty sixth Convocation ceremony to be held on the Most important Auditorium.
In line with him, the convocation programme will start on Oct. 15, with a particular Juma’at service on the College Central Mosque by 1.30 p.m.
He mentioned that this might be adopted on Oct. 17, with an Interdenominational Church Service at St. Thomas Aquinas Chaplaincy on the Most important Campus by 9.00 a.m.
Akogun said that the primary occasions of the ceremony would formally start on Oct. 18, with the Vice-Chancellor’s Press Briefing on the College’s Auditorium by 10 a.m.
He said that attendance on the predominant convocation occasion on Oct. 23, could be restricted to solely graduands with 1st Class Diploma Honours, Prize winners and Doctoral Awardees.
Akokun harassed that “hence, entry into the Main Auditorium will be strictly by invitation cards”.
