The rescued victims
Six victims kidnapped in Chikun Native Authorities Space of Kaduna State have been rescued by Troops of the Nigerian Military.
The State Commissioner of Inner Safety and House Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who disclosed this in an announcement on Monday, September 12, mentioned the victims had been rescued throughout clearance patrols carried out across the Kangon Kadi common space.
In keeping with him, the troops, beneath the Operation Forest Sanity, launched into a clearance operation from Damba to Kangon Kadi, and fired on recognized bandit areas across the Kangon Kadi forest, Labi and the Udawa river.
The bandits fled from the Kangon Kadi space beneath the superior firepower of the troops, abandoning six kidnapped victims at their camp.
The victims had been rescued by the troops, and are recognized as Iliya Gide, Rabi Ali, Hussaina Gide, Pamela Barage, Naomi Nuhu and her child.
The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufa’i, recommended the troops for sustaining valiant efforts throughout a number of fronts.
