Surprise! Today’s Allison Langdon, 42, displays her VERY toned abs as she flashes her Ugg boots while hosting the breakfast show in a ‘tradie’ dress

It looks like the latest Covid outbreak is getting to Allison Langdon.

While she may not be working from home, the Today show host, 42, opted for a more relaxed outfit on Friday compared to her usual corporate attire.

She wore a midriff-baring neon ensemble that highlighted her toned tummy, and completed her look with a pair of casual black Ugg boots.

Allison revealed her not-so-fancy footwear when she kicked up her feet at 8:46am.

Co-anchor Karl Stefanovic called her the ‘tradies’ queen’ because her brightly coloured outfit was similar to hi-vis workwear.

The mother of two then laughed and said: ‘I got me Uggies on… You beauty take a look at that. Comfy.’

Karl put his hands up and quipped: ‘Wow, it’s a hazmat zone.’

Allison looked stunning in the designer two-piece, which featured a midriff-flashing top with floor-length sleeves.

The top was paired with a longline skirt which also grazed the floor.

The Today show teamed decided to dress up for Friday’s episode to ‘fancy up’ their lockdown, which looks set to continue for many more weeks.

It comes after the Nine breakfast show was given a slap on the wrist for breaching broadcasting regulations when it aired a McDonald’s promotion in October last year.

Karl and Allison didn’t make it sufficiently clear Nine had a commercial partnership with the fast-food company during the segment, the Australian Communications and Media Authority’s ruled earlier this week.

The segment saw Langdon share a box of McDonald’s burgers and fries with Karl, 46, and the other presenters.

The advertorial for the chain’s new ‘chicken menu’ saw Karl eat a ‘chicken parmi burger’ and declare it was ‘the best burger’ he’d ever tasted.

According to the commercial television industry code of practice, networks must be transparent when it comes to commercial arrangements and product endorsements.

An ACMA spokesperson said: ‘Ms Langdon’s comments suggesting she had arranged for the products to be provided [for the Today show] had the potential to obscure for viewers the circumstances in which the products appeared on the program.’

Another segment saw weatherman Tim Davies handing out food to members of the public and saying: ‘I’ve got the new McDonald’s McChicken range here.’

This was also found to have breached broadcasting rules, with ACMA explaining that while Davies had ‘disclosed the products were provided by McDonald’s’ he did not disclose the endorsements were ‘in accordance with a commercial arrangement.’
