Professor Ibrahim Wushishi, the Registrar of the Nationwide Examinations Council (NECO), has disclosed when outcomes can be launched.
He has promised that outcomes of the 2022 Senior College Certificates Examination (SSCE) can be launched not later than 45 days after the conduct of the final paper.
Wushishi disclosed this whereas monitoring the conduct of the continued SSCE in some centres in Lagos.
The exams which started in June is predicted to finish on August 12.
“We are on top of the situation and we are giving the assurance that the results of the ongoing exam will be released not later than 45 days after the last paper,” he stated.
He famous that the 1.29m candidates had been sitting for 76 topics within the ongoing examination.
Commenting on insecurity in some elements of the nation, the Council boss acknowledged that ample preparations was made with safety companies to watch actions of supplies and workers.
“We even have safety brokers to information our custodian level. So far as actions are involved, we now have not encountered any safety difficulty and we now have not obtained any report from any elements of the nation even in areas the place we now have sit-at-home, we now have been in a position to conduct exams with none points.
“Though, some candidates missed some papers last year as a result of the ‘sit-at-home’ but those papers have been re-administered.
