Pep Guardiola has confirmed that he will leave Manchester City at the expiration of his current contract and that his next role will be in international football, in bombshell news for the Premier League champions.
The Spaniard, 50, has been in charge at the Etihad since 2016, winning the Premier League three times, while there are high hopes he can end the club’s wait for a Champions League triumph.
And Guardiola has told of his plans to leave City come the conclusion of his contract, which will expire at the end of the 2022-23 campaign, which would mark seven years in charge of the English club.
