In line with a report by The PUNCH, the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Get together has met former Vice-president and the social gathering’s standard-bearer, Atiku Abubakar, behind closed doorways.
The assembly was held on Wednesday night, in Abuja, led by the BOT chairman, Senator Walid Jibrin.
The BOT and the social gathering’s standard-bearer had within the aftermath of the presidential main held in Could scheduled a gathering to debate the topic of who would be the working mate to Abubakar.
A supply near the BOT advised our correspondent that the assembly between Atiku and members of the BOT was an interactive session surrounding the 2023 elections, challenges Nigeria faces, in addition to the unity of the social gathering.
The assembly may not be unconnected to the topic of choosing a working mate for the previous vp.
These in attendance have been former vp Namadi Sambo, former governor of Jigawa State, Dr Sule Lamido, former Imo State governor, Senator Emeka Ihedioha, former Kaduna State governor, Ahmed Makarfi, former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark, Prof. Jerry Gana and a bunch of others.
