Nnpc was established on the first of april 1977. The corporation came into existence due to the merging together of the federal ministry of mine and steel and the nigerian national oil corporation.
The corporation was established to ensure the management of the business ties between multinational corporations and federal government.
Examples of this multinational corporation are agip, chevvron, exxonmobil e.t.c.
As a result of this collaboration between this multinational corporation and the federal government, it enables federal government to be able to explore petroleum.

- Candidate should not be more than 35 years of age no matter the level of Job such candidate is applying to.
- Candidate should be sound mentally
- Candidate should not have any bad records from the court of laws and
- candidates should be very humble and be of good conduct.
- Candidate should possess an nysc discharge certificate.
- Candidate should graduate from a recognised and well respected institution.
- Candidate should ensure he/she is computer literate
- Applicant with 2:1 can apply with their first degree alone but applicant with a 2:2 should apply with their master degree.
- Applicants should not suffer from any form of physical or mental stress e.g sight problem, hearing difficulties.

How To Apply For Nnpc Recruitment 2020/2021
Step 1: First login to nnpc portal through this url www.careers.nnpcgroup.com portal.
Step 2: After login, you will see updates on nnpc recruitment and your next step is to take the full details of this recruitment.
Step 3: If you meet all the eligibility stated after going through the details of the recruitment, then you can go on with the registration
Step 4: Click on get started and read on all the necessary details
Step 5: After being satisfied and agreeing with all terms and condition, click on the link “Apply”
Step 6: Now you will create an account but if you already have an account before, just simply login with your username and password.
Step 7: Fill all the necessary information needed in the given columns
Step 8: Upload all the credentials/ documents needed online
Step 9: Submit the form and print the form out.
Nnpc Screening Instructions
♠️ Come along with valid identification e.g International Passport, Voters ID-Card, National ID-card when coming to the screening centre.
♠️ Shortlisted candidates must be at the screening center earlier at least 30 minutes to the commencement of the test for registration, and should try to arrive not later than 15 minutes before your scheduled test time.
♠️ All devices, including Cell phones, USB, Cameras, e.t.c are prohibited at the Test centers.
♠️ Applicants who refuse to obey with this will not be allowed to take the test.
Please do not come to the center with a friend or loved ones.
Candidates found attempting to cheat/beat the system will be disqualified.
