Two vehicles conveying 2000 crates of alcoholic drinks price over N50Million have been intercepted by the Kano State Highway and Site visitors Company (KAROTA).
The Public Relations Officer of the company, Nabilusi Abubakar, disclosed this in a press release on Thursday, July 28, 2022.
The Managing Director of KAROTA, Hon. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, who confirmed the arrest, additionally rewarded the officer who intercepted the vehicles with N1million after refusing a N500,000 bribe to launch the confiscated items.
