Olumide Aderinokun, the Ogun Central PDP Senatorial District candidate, has dismissed claims that he was convicted for alleged fraud.
In the course of the week, there have been unconfirmed experiences that the husband of media character, Stephanie Coker was in jail for allegedly promoting property of the Lagos State Authorities to unsuspecting members of the general public.
However Aderinokun described the hearsay as baseless, defamatory and unfounded, blaming some All Progressives Congress (APC) members for spreading faux information.

Talking by way of his media aide, Taiye Taiwo, the senatorial candidate defined that as an actual property developer, he had a enterprise dispute with the Lagos State Authorities, which later turned a authorized matter.
Whereas stating that the federal government took the matter to courtroom, Aderinokun stated he was by no means convicted of any crime earlier than the case was dismissed.
“There was a business dispute between Chief Aderinokun and Lagos State Government in 2017, it was later taken to a State High Court by the Lagos State Government.
“In the first hearing of the case, the court granted Chief Aderinokun bail and the conditions were instantly met by his sureties and he did not step into Kirikiri prison as widely reported.
“After further appearances in court, the case was discontinued and dismissed in the Lagos State High Court, pursuant to section 71 of the ACJI 2021 (as amended),” he stated.
Taiwo maintained that Aderinokun and the folks of Ogun Central weren’t deterred by the malicious steps being taken by these he known as the opposition.
Their plan, he stated, was to cease the folks’s mandate within the forthcoming common elections, stressing that the plan had failed already.
