Before you even start thinking of applying for the form, make sure you have checked the requirement carefully and you are eligible to apply to avoid stories that touch later.

In fact, it is not about JAMB result only. There are at least 3 other requirements which you can find below.

FUTA Post UTME Admission Requirements 2020

To be eligible to apply for FUTA Post UTME 2020 admission form, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2019 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) their First Choice Institution are eligible for the screening.
  • In addition, you must possess at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.
  • Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening will not be considered for admission.
  • FUTA will not consider candidates with “Awaiting Results.

NOTE: If you upload your O’level result on JAMB portal before the Post UTME application, you do not have any problem.

  • Candidates MUST have at least a pass in physics to qualify for admission into any programme in FUTA.

Once you meet these basic requirements, you can apply for FUTA Post UTME admission form in 2020.

IMPORTANT TIP: Make sure that your O’level and UTME combination is the accepted combination in FUTA for your course of study before you apply.

How Much Is FUTA Admission Form 2020/2021

The Federal University of Technology, Akurre (FUTA) admission form costs just Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only, with some additional bank charges.

FUTA Cut Off Mark 2020

FUTA JAMB cut off mark for 2020 admission exercise is 180.

In other words, you must have scored a minimum of 180 in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) before you can apply for FUTA admission form.

NOTE: Scoring 180 does not guarantee admission in all courses in FUTA.

Some courses are more competitive and you must have scored high in UTME to stand a chance of gaining admission.

If you scored lesser than the score that gives you a chance of gaining admission, it will be very smart to change your course/institution now.

FUTA Direct Entry Form 2020/2021

If you intend to gain admission directly into 200L in FUTA, then this information is for you.

If you are not applying for FUTA direct entry admission form, move to the next heading below to see how to FUTA Post UTME registration will be done once it is out.

Candidates seeking admission into the University through Direct Entry should posses, in addition to ordinary level and JAMB requirements, one of the followings:

  • A/Level result
  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognized institutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree from recognized institutions.

NOTE: Admission Requirements are subject to review from time to time.

How To Apply For FUTA Post UTME Form 2020/21

The application will be done online by candidates on the Undergraduate admission portal which is www.futa.edu.ng.

Like I said earlier, the portal is not open yet.

Here are the things you need to do to apply successfully:

  1. First, visit the University website (www.futa.edu.ng) once the portal is open.
  2. Login with your JAMB registration Number
  3. Generate RRR, make PAYMENT on REMITA platform and COFIRM the payment
  4. Complete and submit the University Post-UTME Application form online (Print out a copy).
  5. After payment, each candidate should visit the University’s website (www.futa.edu.ng) and complete an online Registration Form. The completed Form should be printed for the candidate’s use.
  6. All affected candidates are to submit their SSCE/NECO results online through the University’s website (www.futa.edu.ng)
  7. Candidates are to note that the deadline for submission of their O’ level results would NOT be extended, and any candidate who failed to upload his/her results would NOT be considered for admission by the University.

FUTA Post UTME Date 2020/2021

The date for FUTA Post UTME screening will be in July, 2020 (if everything goes the way it normally is).
