Before you even start thinking of applying for the form, make sure you have checked the requirement carefully and you are eligible to apply to avoid stories that touch later.
In fact, it is not about JAMB result only. There are at least 3 other requirements which you can find below.
FUPRE Post UTME Admission Requirements 2020
To be eligible to apply for FUPRE Post UTME 2020 admission form, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must have chosen Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun their Choice in the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and had a total score of 180 and above are eligible to take part in FUPRE Post UTME Screening Exercise.
- You must have five (5) O’ Level credits at one or two sittings (including English Language and Mathematics) or, are awaiting results which shall be released before the completion of the admission exercise are eligible to apply.
Once you meet these basic requirements, you can apply for FUPRE Post UTME admission form in 2020.

Is FUPRE Post UTME Form 2020/2021 Out?
As at the time of writing this post, the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun Post UTME form for 2020 admission process is not out yet.
However, it is expected that the form will come out very soon.
That’s not all, I have more for you.
When Will FUPRE Post Form 2020/21 Be Out?
Normally, FUPRE Post UTME form will come out in July or August.
Last year, the application on FUPRE portal began in July and ended in August.
This year, it may be delayed since the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted the academic calendar of many schools.
How Much Is FUPRE Admission Form 2020/2021
The Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun admission form costs just Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only, with some additional bank charges.
FUPRE Cut Off Mark 2020
FUPRE JAMB cut off mark for 2020 admission exercise is 180.
In other words, you must have scored a minimum of 180 in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) before you can apply for FUPRE admission form.
NOTE: Scoring 180 does not guarantee admission in all courses in FUPRE.
Some courses are more competitive and you must have scored high in UTME to stand a chance of gaining admission.
If you scored lesser than the score that gives you a chance of gaining admission, it will be very smart to change your course/institution now.

FUPRE Direct Entry Form 2020/2021
If you intend to gain admission directly into 200L in FUPRE, then this information is for you.
If you are not applying for FUPRE direct entry admission form, move to the next heading below to see how to FUPRE Post UTME registration will be done once it is out.
Candidates seeking admission into the University through Direct Entry should posses, in addition to ordinary level and JAMB requirements, one of the followings:
- General Certificate of Education at Advanced Level in at least two relevant subjects.
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) at Upper/Lower Credit level from recognized institutions.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) at Upper/Lower Credit level from recognized institutions.
- Bachelor’s degree from recognized institutions.
NOTE: Admission Requirements are subject to review from time to time.
For now, FUPRE direct entry admission form is not out yet too.

How To Apply For FUPRE Post UTME Form 2020/21
The application will be done online by candidates on the Undergraduate admission portal which is www.fupre.edu.ng.
Like I said earlier, the portal is not open yet.

Here are the things you need to do to apply successfully without any issue:
- First, you are to visit www.fupre.edu.ng once the portal is open.
- Click on the link “2020/2021 Post-UTME Admission Screening Application”.
- Follow the registration instructions below as posted on the website:
- Candidates should scan and upload their recent coloured Passport size Photograph (taken on red background) of not more than 50KB in JPEG format in the space provided on the on-line registration form.
- Any entry form without a passport photograph as (described in 1. above) uploaded on it, will not be accepted. The uploaded Passport Photograph will be the only valid I.D for all admitted candidates throughout their studentship in the University.
- Ensure that the on-line forms are carefully filled, following ALL necessary instructions, as purported Mistake(s) may lead to disqualification. Note also that deliberate disregard of instructions or failure to comply with the instructions may disqualify a candidate.
- Ensure that you use a password that you can remember to enable you access your result and confirm your admission status subsequently.
- Kindly use functional e-mail addresses and Mobile Phone Numbers to enable the University contact you in the course of the Admission Exercise, whenever the need arises.
- Preview your online completed form and confirm that all information are correct. Thereafter, click the ‘SUBMIT’ button and print your confirmation page. Corrections are not allowed after submission.
FUPRE Post UTME Date 2020/2021
The date for FUPRE Post UTME will be in August, 2020 (if everything goes the way it normally is).
Usually, you will be able to check your examination date on the admission portal.
Your exact date, date and venue will be displayed to you at the appropriate time.
All candidates are required to bring along the following items to the screening venue:
- Remita printout indicating payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only as Screening Fee.
- A copy of their on-line registration form printed in colour and three (3) photocopies
- Three (3) copies of JAMB UTME notification of results
- Four (4) coloured passport size photographs (red background) with their names at the back of the passport. The passport photograph must be the same with the one used for the online registration as photo ID.
- HB pencils and other writing materials
