Australian actor and Hollywood heavyweight Chris Hemsworth is currently making headlines amid claims he refused to appear in a government advertising campaign to promote the Covid-19 vaccination.

But he was worlds away from all the drama last Tuesday, when he was seen enjoying a beach day and lapping up some quality time with wife Elsa Pataky, 45, in the idyllic Byron Bay.

The 38-year-old Thor star showed off his washboard abs and buff build as they hit their local beach for a surf, amid NSW‘s strict Covid-19 lockdown

Chris and Spanish actress Elsa, who have been married for ten years, both wore matching black wetsuits for the surfing session.

Elsa skipped the face paint and went makeup free for the exercise session, wearing her long dark locks out and over her shoulders.

At one point, Elsa was seen catching some waves in the surf, as Chris played around with a cricket bat and ball on the shore.
