Joke Silva and Olu Jacobs
An award of recognition has been offered to veteran couple, Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva by The Audio Visible Rights Society of Nigeria (AVRS).
Actress Monalisa Chinda, a member of the board of administrators disclosed this in an Instagram put up on Wednesday, the place she posted a video of AVRS chairman Mahmood Ali-Balogun presenting the icon award to the couple on the Glover Memorial Corridor in Lagos.
Captioning the put up, Monalisa who couldn’t maintain again her feelings wrote: “That moment when I felt a stirring surge of emotions when we all (the board of directors of AVRS) Audio Visual Rights Society handed an award of Honors to Uncle Olu Jacobs and Aunty Joke Jacobs at the Glover Memorial Hall, Lagos Island.
“It was beautiful.. God bless Uncle Olu …many more years to come Sir. @avrsnigeria our chairman @mahmoodalibalogun God bless you for all you do sir!”
Veteran actor Ejike Asiegbu and Yomi Solade have been additionally current on the award presentation.
Olu Jacobs obtained lifetime achievement awards on the 2021 Africa Worldwide Movie Pageant (AFRIFF). Joke Silva additionally congratulated him on the feat.
The veteran actor turned 80 on July 11, 2022.
