Jerry Maguire and Seinfeld actress Ali Wentworth posted a heartwarming Instagram snap Wednesday of her daughter Elliott Anastasia, 18, on prom night.
Elliott was at home all dressed up to attend the big event – but before she left she posed with her father, Good Morning America co-anchor George Stephanopoulos, 60.
‘Prom night! That is not her date….’ her proud mother Ali, 56, joked as she uploaded the picture to her Instagram page.

Ali rose to fame as a comic actress on the sketch show In Living Color and a few years ago she created and starred on a short-lived sitcom called Nightcap.
Meanwhile George used to work as an adviser to the Clinton administration before becoming an anchorman on ABC.
The showbiz couple were introduced in 2001 when they were set up on a blind date by one of his exes, she told Joy Behar on BUILD Series a few years ago.
Initially she was not interested in dating George inasmuch as ‘I grew up in DC amongst politics and I just, I had no interest.’
Coming up on 20 years: Ali and George have been married since late 2001 having gotten engaged just two months after the blind date where they were introduced
She confessed that it was not exactly a ‘blind date’ as she ‘knew who he was’ and he had looked her up on Google before they met up.
However she ‘knew’ he was the one ‘right when I sat down’ and ‘we were engaged two months later,’ marrying that very year.
They welcomed Elliott a little less than 10 months after the wedding and they also share a 16-year-old daughter named Harper.
Last year early in the coronavirus lockdowns Ali came down with COVID-19 and after she recovered she shared her experiences on The Wendy Williams Show.

Although George was asymptomatic Ali was ‘deathly ill’ beginning with a ‘very heavy chest, like hard to breathe, hard to breathe, I was walking my dogs and I thought: “Am I, did I just turn 94 years old? I can’t even walk down the street.”‘
She added: ‘And after that I got bodyaches, I got a high fever. So it was basically two weeks of high fever, like I couldn’t even lift my arm.’
Ali revealed; ‘And then at the end was a terrible cough. It looked like it was turning into pneumonia so I went on a different set of very powerful antibiotics.’
