According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the board is working on a new USSD code for the registration of the 2022/2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and other vital services provided by the board.

As part of the board’s preparations for a smooth 2022 UTME and direct entry registration exercise, the board is finalizing all arrangements for the establishment of an additional USSD Code to be used by candidates in addition to the 55019 that has been in operation since 2018 for registration and other essential services.

Jamb Adds two New Subjects to its Curriculum

In addition, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has added Computer Studies and Physical and Health Education to its UTME curriculum.

It stated that candidates taking UTME EXAMS can now select Computer Studies or Physical and Health Education as one of the four obligatory UTME subjects, if desired or as required by their program preferences.

The board stated that the two subjects would be added to the existing 23 UTME subjects beginning with the 2022 UTME.

JAMB has also altered its examination timelines for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).
